（1）“对着”。常用搭配：play against… 意为“与……比赛/对抗”。例如：
Our school football team will play against a team from other school next week.
下周我们校足球队将和其他学校的足球队打比赛。
（2）“反对”。常同动词fight ,argue ,struggle 等连用，可用副词strongly 修饰；常见搭配：be against （doing）sth./sb. 反对（做）某事/某人。例如：
We have to fight against difficulties.
我们不得不同困难作斗争。
（3）“紧靠；倚在；撞”。例如：
He stood with his back against the door.
他背靠着门站着。
